Responsibilities Operate POS systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while ensuring proper cash handling procedures. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and resolving concerns promptly. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customers to explore new items. Assist with merchandising and stocking to maintain an organized and attractive store layout. Upsell relevant products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance remotely. Support retail sales efforts through effective communication skills and proactive engagement with shoppers. Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail environment is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with diverse customers Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for team support roles. Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and product demos efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive interactions. Knowledge of grocery store operations, upselling techniques, and sales strategies is beneficial.
