Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier and Customer Service Representative, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a welcoming shopping experience for every customer. In this role, you'll be the friendly face that assists customers with their purchases, manages transactions efficiently, and provides exceptional service that keeps shoppers coming back. Responsibilities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges with speed and precision Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments confidently while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits to customers Upsell complementary products or services to maximize sales opportunities in a friendly manner Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Experience Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math skills to handle transactions confidently Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team Experience in grocery stores or retail environments that require quick thinking and multitasking skills is beneficial Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales transactions Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service with a positive attitude Join us if you're passionate about creating memorable shopping experiences!
