Client & Case Support Assistant (Family Law) Confidential Paradise Valley, AZ Job Details Full-time $4,500 - $5,400 a month 13 hours ago Benefits Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Legal administrative experience Law office Legal case management Appointment scheduling Office experience Full Job Description
ROLE OVERVIEW A
growing family law practice in the Paradise Valley area is seeking a full-time Client & Case Support Assistant for a detail-heavy, high-standard role working with a team of attorneys and support staff. This is not a low-accountability or hand-holding role. It can be an excellent opportunity for the right person, but fit matters. We are looking for someone professional, reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where accuracy matters. A successful person in this role must be comfortable taking direction, asking thoughtful questions, using written processes, and becoming increasingly independent after training.
CORE WORK
  • Answer and route phone calls professionally and confidently.
  • Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other law offices.
  • Send filings, correspondence, and documents to clients for the attorneys and support staff.
  • Manage calendaring, deadlines, scheduling, and routine case workflow.
  • Prepare, format, proofread, and process routine legal documents and correspondence.
  • File documents and process incoming and outgoing court filings.
  • Maintain organized client files.
  • Track tasks, follow up on open items, and help keep cases moving.
FIT AND EXPECTATIONS
We need someone who takes ownership of the position. You may be a strong fit if you:
  • have at least two years of legal assistant, paralegal, or law-office experience;
  • are punctual, reliable, and ready to work at your scheduled start time;
  • take pride in accuracy and follow-through;
  • are comfortable receiving direct feedback;
  • take notes and build checklists/systems to avoid repeated mistakes;
  • are comfortable communicating by phone with clients and other law offices;
  • understand that support work is important work;
  • want to do an excellent job, not merely an adequate job.
We will train on systems, processes, case workflow, and expectations. We do not expect someone to walk in knowing everything on day one. But we do need someone who can absorb instruction, use written materials, learn from feedback, and become useful within a reasonable amount of time. This is probably not the right role for someone who is uncomfortable with direct feedback, needs close step-by-step supervision after training, has difficulty using written processes independently, or is looking for a low-accountability role. The right person takes pride in their work, moves with purpose, and understands that support work requires urgency, accuracy, and ownership.
COMPENSATION, BENEFITS, AND GROWTH
  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Benefits including 401(k), life and disability insurance, medical coverage, and dental coverage.
  • The opportunity to learn from high-performing attorneys and staff.
  • Modern technology.
  • Real opportunity for growth — as your skills and responsibilities increase, your compensation will increase accordingly.
The right person can become highly skilled, genuinely valued, and appropriately paid for it. We are serious about the work, but we are not a cold or humorless office. We are kind to each other and we want people to enjoy being here. The best fit is someone who can enjoy that environment while still understanding that accuracy, reliability, and ownership come first because they support and protect our clients.
