Service Advisor Compensation and Benefits:
$3500.00 base pay plus commission Join Show Low Ford, Inc as a Service Advisor where you will be the key point of contact between our customers and the service department. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service by assessing vehicle service needs, communicating repairs and maintenance recommendations, and ensuring a smooth and satisfying service experience for every customer. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and assist them with their service needs. Listen to customer concerns and accurately diagnose vehicle issues in collaboration with technicians. Provide clear explanations of recommended services, costs, and timelines. Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers on vehicle status. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service histories. Work closely with service technicians, parts department, and management to ensure efficient operations. Promote additional services and products that benefit the customer. Requirements Previous experience in a customer service or automotive service advisor role preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of automotive repair terminology and processes is a plus. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Must be located in or willing to commute to Show Low, AZ. Service Advisor Responsibilities:
Greet customers promptly Obtain customer and vehicle information Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts Establish follow up time Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order Explain all completed work and charges to customers
Service Advisor Requirements:
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus Ability to identify the problem quickly Knowledge of automobiles Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant Very energetic personality A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization Personal and professional integrity Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications Minimum of 1 year in service department Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills Positive, friendly attitude High school diploma or equivalent We are an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
