Job Description
Large local family-owned plant nursery seeking full time professional, experienced salespeople. Plant knowledge and Garden Center experience helpful but not required. Will train the right candidate with a can-do attitude, retail sales background, solid customer service skills, energetic and upbeat attitude, and ability to handle active customer flow. Seasonal business with fast-paced operation October-May and slower pace from June-September. Sales and customer experience required, computer skills required, must enjoy customer-facing involvement all day throughout shift including answering telephone inquires. Merchandising skills desirable. Many positions require outdoor work and some labor tasks such as sweeping, raking, moving small to medium pottery, dusting. Must be able to properly complete computerized customer order forms and use Google calendar. Organizational and some administrative work required. Weekend work required. Pay $18-22 hourly.
