Job Description

Overview:
Ethos Management, Inc provides Collections, Billing, Accounts Receivable and Customer Service support to AHMC Hospitals to assist with their revenue cycle objectives.
Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative greets telephone customers warmly and assists the caller(s) with the reason for calling and directs each person to the appropriate party. The Customer Service Representative is responsible to enhance patient satisfaction and ensures the highest quality of service while on the telephone. Performs various clerical functions and maintains patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA compliance standards.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
Answers phones, routes callers, takes messages, and provides routine information to callers in a prompt and courteous manner. Communicates effectively with all departments for any patient account related issues. Performs a variety of clerical function associated with the patient account areas while keeping patient confidentiality and satisfaction as a priority. Documents and updates system accurately with all pertinent information. Abides by Ethos Management's Code of Conduct and HIPAA compliance standards.
Qualifications/Skills &Knowledge Requirements:
1year of recent hospital/healthcare customer service experience preferred Effective verbal and written communication skills Spanish preferred Must be detailed oriented and able to work independently High School Diploma or equivalent required
