Performs a variety of administrative, support and clerical functions. Resolves administrative issues and inquiries. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Two years recent customer service experience Computer literacy and proficiency Ability to multitask and prioritize needs to meet timelines Understanding of basic medical terminology Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in healthcare Physical Requirements These are requirements normally expected to perform regular job duties. Demonstrates appropriate use of independent judgement and decision making. Demonstrates excellent customer service at all times. Works with patients, vendors, and hospitals to ensure that insurance information is correct, updating and correcting information as needed, and in a timely manner. Maintains electronic tracking logs as assigned. Maintains confidentiality in accordance with hospital/corporate policies and HIPAA privacy regulations.
