Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales and Customer Service Associate to join our retail team here at Mrs. Fields cookies in Burbank town center mall. This role is vital in providing exceptional service, promoting our cookie products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, and a passion for helping customers find the right product. Bilingual abilities are a plus, merchandising, and cash handling. This position offers an engaging environment where you can develop your customer service, baking, and cake decorating skills and grow within our company. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities Maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure proper merchandising standards Stock shelves and organize inventory to ensure product availability Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling procedures Provide excellent customer service by answering cookie cake inquiries, order taking, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction Assist with inventory management, including stocking and organizing products Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone Support supervising team members when needed to ensure smooth store operations Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred; familiarity with bakery or cookie store environments is a plus Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Experience with POS systems and basic retail math calculations Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately and handle cash responsibly Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Supervising experience is a plus but not required; leadership qualities are valued This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about retail sales and customer service to thrive in a supportive team environment while developing valuable skills for future growth.
