The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Service Advisor, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their vehicle service experience while ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively. Duties Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing rapport and understanding their service needs. Accurately assess customer concerns and document them clearly for the service technicians. Provide detailed explanations of services recommended, including oil changes, auto body repairs, and other maintenance tasks. Manage the service writing process, ensuring all necessary information is collected and communicated to the service team. Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition while maintaining transparency. Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of services and communicate updates to customers. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner. Maintain organized records of services performed and ensure proper follow-up with customers. Requirements Proven experience in automotive service or related fields such as auto estimating or auto body repair is preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, dealership operations, and service management processes. Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining customer trust. Proficient in service writing with an understanding of the workflow within an auto service environment. Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers with varying levels of automotive knowledge. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
