Customer Service Representative Brotherhood Transports Compton, CA Job Details Full-time $20 - $30 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Microsoft Outlook Customer service Computer literacy Transportation management Attention to detail Organizational skills Full Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support daily transportation operations and provide outstanding service to our customers. This role serves as the primary point of contact for shipment updates, appointment scheduling, issue resolution, and communication between customers, dispatch, drivers, and operations. Responsibilities Provide shipment status updates to customers via phone and email Track containers and deliveries from port pickup through final delivery Coordinate appointments with warehouses, terminals, and customers Communicate with dispatch and drivers regarding shipment progress Enter and update shipment information in company systems Resolve customer inquiries and service issues professionally and promptly Monitor delivery schedules and proactively communicate delays Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and shipment activity Assist operations team with day-to-day logistics support Qualifications Customer service experience required Transportation, trucking, drayage, freight forwarding, or logistics experience preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and basic computer systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Experience Drayage operations Port of Los Angeles / Long Beach logistics Dispatching or load tracking Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
Pay:
