Position Overview Aeronet Worldwide is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Domestic Customer Service Representative to join our Domestic Operations team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers, sales, operations, and transportation vendors, ensuring shipments are managed accurately and efficiently from pickup through delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, possesses excellent communication and organizational skills, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service while meeting company policies, service standards, and performance expectations. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, sales representatives, operations, and vendors. Answer incoming phone calls professionally and respond promptly to customer inquiries. Monitor and respond to email requests in a timely manner. Prepare customer quotes within 30 minutes. Distribute customer, agent, and station requests for follow-up as needed. Address additional requests requiring immediate attention. Accurately enter shipment and customer information into company systems. Maintain shipment milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs). Dispatch shipments and communicate all special instructions, delivery requirements, and cut-off times to vendors. Track and trace shipments, proactively communicating shipment status, delays, or issues to customers and the sales team. Maintain a working knowledge of TSA regulations and ensure compliance. Utilize internal systems, including 7L, KSMS, and other company tools, accurately and efficiently. Complete assigned customer accounts and operational responsibilities. Process shipment billing and ensure files are closed promptly. Maintain accurate timekeeping, including daily clock-in/out and meal periods. Support teammates and other departments as business needs require. Participate in overtime and weekend on-call rotations when necessary. Perform other duties as assigned by the Domestic Manager. QualificationsEducation High school diploma or equivalent required. Relevant certifications are a plus. Experience Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience, preferably in transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain. Industry experience is strongly preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong customer service mindset with a professional and positive attitude. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Accurate typing speed of at least 35 words per minute. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines. Physical Requirements This position is primarily performed in a professional office environment. Employees regularly sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and use their hands to operate standard office equipment. Frequent use of a computer, telephone, and other office technology is required.
