This position combines excellent communication skills, compassion for animals and their owners, and strong organizational abilities to support both the medical team and clients. The CSR is responsible for greeting clients, managing appointments, handling phone and email communications, processing payments, maintaining accurate patient records, and assisting with administrative tasks that ensure smooth day-to-day operations. By providing exceptional service and demonstrating empathy, the CSR helps build lasting client relationships and contributes to the overall success of the practice. Key Responsibilities Welcome clients and patients in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner. Answer incoming calls, emails, and messages promptly and courteously. Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments and follow-up visits. Maintain accurate client and patient records within the practice management system. Process invoices, payments, and estimates efficiently and accurately. Communicate with clients regarding treatment plans, reminders, and educational materials. Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and other staff to coordinate patient care. Assist in managing client concerns and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism. Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming front office and reception area. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred). Previous experience in customer service; veterinary or medical office experience a plus. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Proficiency with computer systems and scheduling software.
