Customer Service Position Summary We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Level 1 Account Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. You will work closely with the Sales, Logistics, Shipping, and Customer Service teams to provide a seamless customer experience from order entry through final delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Key Responsibilities Process customer orders accurately and efficiently from entry through fulfillment. Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, pricing, shipping, and delivery schedules. Monitor customer accounts and proactively communicate updates, delays, or changes. Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, Shipping, and Accounting to resolve customer issues and ensure timely order completion. Assist with inventory allocation and order release to maximize on-time shipments. Coordinate freight quotes, shipping arrangements, and delivery updates with carriers and vendors. Maintain accurate customer records, order notes, and product information in internal systems. Prepare reports on open orders, backorders, inventory, and customer activity. Identify and escalate issues that may impact customer satisfaction or order fulfillment. Support teammates by providing backup coverage and assisting with daily operational tasks. Contribute ideas for improving customer service processes and operational efficiency. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework is a plus. Previous experience in customer service, account management, order processing, or administrative support preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); experience with ERP or order management systems is a plus. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team. Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to learn.

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
