Mid Valley Disposal is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our Operations Team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to providing excellent customer service. As a Dispatcher, you will serve as a key point of communication between drivers, customer service, sales, and customers to ensure efficient daily operations and timely service delivery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Dispatch drivers and coordinate service requests to ensure timely and efficient completion of routes. Assign routes, service tickets, and work orders while monitoring daily progress. Receive and process requests from Customer Service and Sales for container deliveries, exchanges, and pickups. Communicate with drivers throughout the day to address route changes, service issues, and customer concerns. Troubleshoot operational challenges and identify solutions to maintain service levels. Optimize route efficiency and support productivity goals established by management. Maintain accurate route documentation and service records. Provide professional customer service via phone, email, and two-way communication devices. Assist with driver check-in procedures and ensure all required documentation is completed. Promote and support a safe working environment by following company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED equivalent. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Minimum of 1 year of dispatching experience. Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience. Experience with routing, logistics, or transportation operations. Bilingual in English and Spanish. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
