This role supports billing and customer account services for residential, commercial, and temporary customers in a fast-paced administrative office environment. The Customer Service Representative will be a key point of contact for customers, assisting with billing questions, account updates, payment processing, service requests, and general administrative support. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping the public, solving problems, and working with a collaborative team that values accuracy, professionalism, and responsive service. This position offers the chance to build valuable experience in customer service, billing, data entry, and office administration while working in a supportive environment with strong teamwork and consistent processes. Key Responsibilities Provide courteous and professional customer service by phone, email, and in person. Set up, update, transfer, and close utility service accounts for residential, commercial, and temporary customers. Process customer payments, research billing questions, and resolve account discrepancies accurately and efficiently. Coordinate service requests, including new service activations, meter-related work orders, disconnections, and restorations according to established procedures. Maintain accurate customer account records, billing documentation, reports, filing, and data entry. Work closely with internal staff and field teams to ensure service orders and customer requests are completed correctly and on time.
Compensation and Benefits Salary Range:
$50,000 to $54,000 per year.
