Description:
Supports the Customer Service team with high-volume administrative tasks, customer follow-ups, and order management activities. This role contributes to maintaining accurate system data, supporting customer communication, and executing key business initiatives, including a project updating pricing on open orders. The position works closely with Customer Service, Planning, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely processing of requests, improved workflow efficiency, and consistent customer experience. Manage shared Customer Service inbox, triage incoming requests, and route or respond in a timely manner to support team workflow efficiency Perform customer follow-ups on open orders, requests, and inquiries to ensure timely responses and resolution Execute price increase project on open orders by: Contacting customers to communicate pricing updates Requesting revised purchase orders Updating system records to reflect accurate pricing and documentation Maintain accurate order documentation and support data entry activities, including order updates, PO revisions, and system accuracy checks Upload and manage customer purchase orders into internal systems (including AI reader/DocLib as applicable) ensuring timely processing and data accuracy Collaborate with Planning, Scheduling, and cross-functional teams to support expedite requests and order prioritization activities Support backlog management activities, including tracking, updates, and communication to ensure visibility and accuracy of open orders Complete additional administrative tasks, reporting, and special projects as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED Required Associates/Bachelor's Degree Preferred/Desired Strong communication skills, written & verbal are required. Must display good telephone etiquette in a heavy request volume environment. Excellent organizational skills are required. Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced/heavy pressure environment. Ability to type at a minimum speed of 50 WPM Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially in MS Word, Excel & Outlook is required. Working knowledge of order entry database systems. QAD experience is a plus.
