Job Description

Javelin Logistics Company, an industry leader in material management, logistics, and comprehensive transportation services with proven accuracy, flexibility, and on-time delivery, is looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative for their Newark, CA office.
Job Type:
Full Time.
Shift:
Thursday to Monday, 10:00am to 6:30pm (including weekends).
Pay Range:
$21- $23 per hour
JOB SUMMARY
: Javelin Logistics is seeking a qualified Foreign Trade Zone Agent (FTZ). As an FTZ Agent, you will be responsible for processing FTZ entries with
CPB. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Process FTZ Entries with US Customs Border Protection (CBP). Maintain and upload eFiles for record keeping. Upload files into orders. Directly responsible and accountable for the compliant and timely processing of FTZ shipments as assigned in accordance with established policy and procedures. Provide accurate Reports to supervisor on a timely matter. Requires processing of complex air shipments and requires a thorough understanding of customs clearances. Monitor all pending shipments to ensure they are processed in a timely manner. Creation of orders (BOL) into TMS using documents provided by freight forwarders (MAWB). Creation of delivery orders. Creation of consols.
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
Very strong Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) experience required. Minimum 1 year of Logistics/Freight forwarding industry experience. Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts:
days, evenings, nights, or weekends.
Required Language:
