• Field Service Representative
• to support critical network infrastructure projects throughout California.

Your expertise will directly support the evolution of communications technology while ensuring the integrity, safety, and reliability of customer networks. What You'll Do As a Field Service Representative, you'll independently manage field activities across multiple sites while ensuring strict compliance with safety, documentation, and operational procedures.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

_Telecommunications Equipment Decommissioning_ + Conduct site audits to verify equipment locations against work orders + Log into network devices to verify circuit IDs and confirm no active customer traffic is present before decommissioning + Perform power clamp testing and accurately record electrical readings + Safely de-energize equipment by removing fuses, tripping breakers, and applying Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures + Execute Circuit in View (CIV) testing as directed by client engineering teams + Decommission legacy telecommunications equipment in live data center and central office environments _Safety & Compliance_ + Complete a Pre-Work Safe Plan before commencing work at every site, every day + Follow all safety protocols and compliance requirements without exception + Maintain strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures + Ensure all work is completed safely within live operational environments + Escalate issues and out-of-scope activities appropriately to project leadership _Documentation & Reporting_ + Update client systems with project status, outcomes, and daily activity logs on the day work is performed + Upload site photographs and required documentation according to established procedures + Maintain accurate records of testing, decommissioning activities, and safety documentation + Provide timely communication regarding site discoveries, risks, blockers, and project updates _Travel & Site Management_ + Travel throughout California to assigned project locations + Work independently across data centers, telecommunications facilities, urban office environments, and remote infrastructure sites + Support occasional overnight travel for rural or remote assignments Required Qualifications Technical Experience + Minimum 3 years of experience as a Field Engineer, Network Engineer, Telecommunications Technician, or similar role + Hands-on experience maintaining or decommissioning telecommunications equipment in live data centers or central office environments + Experience working with: + Nortel

systems + Ciena 2600 platforms or equivalent WDM equipment + Cisco 15454, 15310, and 15327 platforms + Juniper MX and EX series equipment + Ability to access network devices, verify circuit IDs, and confirm traffic status prior to de-energization + Experience using power clamp meters and interpreting electrical readings + Understanding of structured cabling, power distribution systems, and equipment racking within data center environments Safety & Compliance + Current Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) certification + Demonstrated understanding of electrical safety in live environments + Ability to complete site-specific safety plans consistently and accurately + Authorization to work in data center and telecommunications environments within the United States + Willingness to complete required safety and data center training Systems & Documentation + Experience updating field management systems, work order platforms, or similar applications + Strong documentation and reporting skills + Proficiency using smartphones or tablets for field reporting, photo documentation, and record management + Ability to maintain accurate logs, safety records, and project documentation Additional Requirements + Full, valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record + Willingness to travel extensively throughout California + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications + OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification + First Aid and CPR Certification + Experience with: + ADVA FSP 150 platforms + Omnitron Ethernet Converters + Integral Access PurePacket Nodes + Supermicro and HP enterprise server hardware + Familiarity with Facility Record and Building (FRAB) data + Experience with Excel-based project tracking and reporting tools + Degree or technical certification in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Networking, or a related field + Experience working in remote telecommunications infrastructure environments What Makes You Successful We're looking for professionals who demonstrate: + A safety-first mindset in every situation + Strong integrity and commitment to following established procedures + Exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy + Clear, proactive communication skills + The ability to remain disciplined and methodical under pressure + Independence and accountability in managing daily field activities + Adaptability to work across diverse environments throughout California Ready to Make an Impact?
