Job Description

DME Receptionist Location:
Redding, CA (Fully Onsite)
Schedule:
Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Pay:
$20-$22.50 per hour (depending on experience) We are seeking Customer Service Representatives to join our Power Mobility Department (PMD) in Redding. This is an in-person position supporting patients, caregivers, clinicians, and vendors involved in the delivery and maintenance of specialized rehabilitation equipment. The PMD team works with a wide range of complex rehabilitation and adaptive equipment, including power wheelchairs, specialized strollers, helmets, seating systems, and other custom-fitted devices designed for individuals with complex medical needs and progressive conditions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, excels at problem-solving, and can effectively coordinate multiple tasks while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and vendors. Coordinate orders, repairs, maintenance, and service requests for rehabilitation and adaptive equipment. Assist with scheduling appointments, equipment deliveries, fittings, and follow-up services. Communicate with clinical teams, manufacturers, and insurance representatives regarding equipment needs and status updates. Maintain accurate customer records and documentation within company systems. Track open orders and service requests to ensure timely resolution. Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and urgency. Support patients with complex rehabilitation needs by providing clear communication and exceptional service throughout the equipment process. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask Attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance) Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar systems Familiarity with insurance verification processes (preferred) Basic knowledge of medical terminology (preferred) Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in a receptionist, medical office, or customer service role preferred Experience in a healthcare or DME setting is a plus
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.50 per hour
