Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Full-Time, Onsite) Position Summary A respected healthcare organization in San Diego is hiring Customer Service Representatives to support patients calling into a centralized access and scheduling center. This role is ideal for someone who is confident handling a high volume of inbound calls, enjoys structured environments, and takes pride in providing accurate, professional support. As a CSR, you will assist patients with appointment scheduling, general inquiries, and routing requests to the appropriate clinical teams while following established guidelines and quality standards. This is a full-time, onsite role with strong potential to convert to permanent employment based on performance. Responsibilities Answer continuous inbound calls from patients seeking assistance with appointments and services Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments using internal systems Listen carefully to patient requests and determine appropriate next steps or escalation paths Document all interactions clearly and accurately in real time Create detailed messages for providers, nursing staff, and clinical departments Provide courteous, efficient service while maintaining productivity and quality benchmarks Remain calm and professional when handling upset or frustrated callers Follow HIPAA, compliance, and internal customer service standards Support additional administrative tasks related to patient access and scheduling Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 1+ year of customer service, call center, or patient-facing experience preferred Strong communication and active listening skills Ability to multitask and work across multiple computer systems Detail-oriented with solid documentation skills Professional phone presence and reliability Nice to Have Previous healthcare, medical office, or scheduling experience Familiarity with medical terminology Experience in high-volume or metrics-driven call centers Role Details Onsite attendance required Standard weekday business hours Structured training and measurable performance expectations Why People Stay and Convert Stable, full-time daytime schedule Clear processes and defined expectations Hands-on healthcare experience with multiple departments Long-term opportunity with a well-established organization
Pay Details:
