Role:
The Client Service Associate is a foundational role on our team, serving as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and day-to-day operational needs. Reporting directly to the Client Service Manager, this person will handle the frequent, time-sensitive tasks that keep our practice running smoothly — freeing our advisors to focus on financial planning and deepening client relationships. This is an excellent entry point into the wealth management industry. You'll gain hands-on exposure to RIA operations, custodial platforms, financial planning workflows, and high-touch client service in a collaborative, small-firm environment where your contributions are visible and valued.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$45,000 - $60,000, dependent on experience and skills. Key Responsibilities Client Service Answer and route incoming phone calls; serve as a warm, professional first point of contact for clients Respond to routine client inquiries regarding account information, statements, and service requests Schedule client meetings and coordinate calendar logistics for advisors Assist with client onboarding, including account opening paperwork and documentation Communicate with custodians on behalf of clients to process service requests Operations & Administration Process money movements including deposits, transfers, and distributions Deposit checks and maintain accurate records of incoming assets Upload, file, and organize client documents in the firm's document management and CRM systems Prepare and distribute client account statements and reports Maintain and update client data in CRM; ensure records are current and accurate Support quarter-end and year-end administrative workflows Assist with compliance-related filing and recordkeeping Team Support Provide general administrative support to advisors and the Client Service Manager Identify opportunities to improve day-to-day processes and workflows Assist the paraplanner and advisors with meeting preparation materials as needed What We're Looking For Required Bachelor's degree (Finance, Business, Communications, or related field preferred) Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills — you catch the things others miss Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable and personable on the phone Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment A team-first attitude and genuine desire to serve clients well Preferred (Not Required) Prior experience at an RIA, broker-dealer, bank, or other financial services firm Familiarity with custodial platforms (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity, Altruist) Experience with CRM software (Wealthbox) Interest in pursuing industry credentials (Series 65, CFP, etc.) over time Why Join Cerro Pacific Be a valued, visible member of a small, collaborative team — not a number Learn the full lifecycle of wealth management operations from day one A supportive environment that invests in your professional development Exposure to a broad range of responsibilities that will accelerate your career growth in financial services
