Customer Service Representative Job Description As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations by utilizing your customer service expertise in a dynamic environment. This position involves managing both inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, and directing calls to the appropriate department. Responsibilities Answer incoming calls and provide assistance to callers. Make outbound calls for scheduling, follow-up, or confirmations. Schedule and coordinate appointments, managing calendar logistics. Direct calls accurately to the right department or team member. Essential Skills 1-3 years of customer service or call center experience. Proven ability to manage a high volume of inbound calls professionally. Experience in making outbound calls. Strong phone presence and verbal communication skills. Patient and professional demeanor when handling customer inquiries. Additional Skills & Qualifications Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Ability to handle shifting priorities efficiently. Work Environment This role is onsite in San Marcos, operating Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm, with a 30-minute meal break. The environment is fast-paced, requiring adaptability and a strong focus on providing excellent customer service. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Marcos, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
