Spectrum Wine Description :
A wine auction, retail, storage, and services firm based in Orange County, California is seeking an extremely detail-oriented, hard-working, and organized individual to join our Auction Client Services team. This position assists customers with auction purchases, shipping arrangements, storage services, and general account support while serving as one of the primary points of contact for clients. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. Successful candidates are highly organized, communicate professionally, and take pride in seeing tasks through to completion. The ability to manage multiple customer requests simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail is critical. A basic knowledge of wine and wine collecting is preferred; however, candidates with a genuine interest in learning about fine and rare wines are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age. This is an entry-level to mid-level position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Entry-Level Responsibilities Include :
  • Answering incoming phone calls and responding to customer emails in a professional and timely manner
  • Assisting customers with bidding questions, invoices, payments, and account maintenance
  • Coordinating domestic and international wine shipments
  • Scheduling customer pickups, deliveries, and storage transfers
  • Communicating with third-party shipping providers, warehouses, and storage facilities
  • Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate records within proprietary software systems
  • Assisting customers with wine storage inquiries and inventory requests
  • Working closely with warehouse staff, sales staff, and management to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Researching and resolving customer service issues and shipment related concerns
  • Supporting various administrative and operational projects as needed
Successful Candidates Demonstrate :
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong Internet, Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook), Google products, and general computer proficiency
  • Ability to learn proprietary software platforms and operational processes quickly
  • Professionalism, integrity, and reliability
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team
  • A self-motivated work ethic and positive attitude
  • Previous experience in customer service, logistics, shipping, hospitality, administrative support, retail, or wine-related industries is preferred but not required
  • A willingness to learn about fine and rare wines
