We are seeking a detail-oriented, client-focused Client Service Specialist (Accounting Services) to serve as the bridge between our new clients and our Accounting Services team. In this role, you will guide clients through the implementation process, coordinate project milestones, provide training and support, and ensure a seamless transition into ongoing accounting and reconciliation services. What You'll Do Client OnboardingRelationship Management Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during onboarding and implementation. Conduct needs assessments to understand client accounting requirements and tailor solutions accordingly. Respond promptly to client inquiries and troubleshoot implementation challenges. Track onboarding progress and communicate project updates to clients and leadership. Deliver training on Accounting Services processes, including: Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Sales transactions General Ledger (GL) Journal entries Inventory postings Month-end close activities Ottimate invoice processing tools Sage Intacct services Project CoordinationImplementation Partner with New Client Services and Accounting Services teams to support company growth initiatives. Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure project milestones are completed accurately and on time. Monitor project timelines and maintain implementation dashboards and tracking tools. Assist with reviewing and auditing onboarding workflows for quality and efficiency. Generate reports on onboarding progress, implementation outcomes, and client readiness. Quality AssuranceDocumentation Capture detailed meeting notes and follow up on key action items and milestones. Maintain accurate client records and documentation. Ensure all client communications are professional, timely, and error-free. Follow established procedures and collaborate effectively across departments. Protect confidential client information with the highest level of integrity. TransitionContinuous Improvement Facilitate a smooth handoff from onboarding to the ongoing Accounting Services and Reconciliation teams. Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes and client implementation experiences. Contribute ideas that enhance efficiency, scalability, and client satisfaction. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Accounting certification. Strong understanding of accounting functions and principles.
Knowledge of:
Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Sales accounting Cash management General Ledger (GL) Journal entries Inventory postings Month-end close processes Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Experience working with ERP systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field. Experience supporting client onboarding, implementation, or project management initiatives. Experience delivering training and presentations to clients or end users.
