Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, including product demos and recommendations Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to enhance product visibility and appeal Upsell products and promotions to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support store operations by stocking shelves, managing inventory, and conducting regular stock checks Assist in training new team members and supervising junior staff as needed to ensure smooth daily operations Requirements Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred; supervisory experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are advantageous Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is beneficial Excellent phone etiquette, active listening skills, and a friendly attitude are essential Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales transactions Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings as needed Join our team where your enthusiasm fuels our success!
