Service Advisor - Powersports Industry Thousand Oaks Powersports - Thousand Oaks, CA Full-Time | Competitive Pay + Bonuses | Growth Opportunity Are you passionate about motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and everything powersports? Do you have a talent for providing top-tier customer service and keeping a busy service department running smoothly? Thousand Oaks Powersports , one of California's premier multi-line dealerships, is looking for a Service Advisor to be the key link between our customers and our expert technician team. About the Role As a Service Advisor, you'll be the front line of our service department — helping riders schedule repairs, understand maintenance needs, and feel confident their machine is in the best hands.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assess service needs for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other powersports vehicles Write detailed repair orders and communicate clearly with both customers and technicians Manage service schedules and keep customers informed of job status and timelines Review completed work with customers and ensure satisfaction Coordinate warranty claims and service bulletins with OEMs Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to dealership and manufacturer procedures
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
1-3+ years of experience in a service advisor or customer service role (powersports, automotive, or marine industry preferred) Strong knowledge of powersports products or a passion for learning quickly Excellent communication and organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment Familiarity with dealership software (e.g., Lightspeed, DX1) a plus A friendly, professional attitude and customer-first mindset
