Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Torrance, California. In this role, you will manage customer inquiries, process orders, and provide exceptional service to ensure client satisfaction. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the wood and furniture manufacturing industry by supporting customers through effective communication and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and efficiency.
- Process customer orders accurately, ensuring all details are entered into the system correctly.
- Address and resolve customer concerns, providing solutions or escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of company products and services to assist customers effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and problem resolution.
- Handle both inbound and outbound calls to support customer needs and follow-up on inquiries.
- Document customer interactions and maintain records for reference and quality assurance.
- Provide a positive customer experience by demonstrating patience, empathy, and a commitment to service excellence. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or call center role.
- Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls with a customer-focused approach.
- Strong skills in order entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the wood and furniture manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward resolving customer issues.
