Job Description

Customer Service Associate for a biotechnology company located in Tustin, CA. This is a Temporary to Hire opportunity. Paying $20-21/hr , depending on experience. Hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Looking for a positive and solutions-oriented individual to join our Customer Service team. This role supports customers worldwide with order and product-related inquiries, manages incoming orders, and collaborates with internal departments to fulfill customer requests. The successful candidate will help identify customer needs, ensure a positive customer experience, and contribute to continuous process improvements within the department.
Responsibilities:
Receive and process orders placed via email, fax, and phone using Oracle NetSuite. Provide phone and email support to customers on order and product-related inquiries in a friendly, professional manner. Resolve and follow-up on order-related discrepancies. Coordinate returns, replacements, refunds, and credit memos. Provide customer insight, feedback, and participate as a consultant to the internal team for customer experience improvements. Cultivate good relationships with key accounts. Maintain customer accounts and record customer interactions. Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill customer requests. Advise customers on lead times, current promotions, and company policies. Provide feedback on workflows and processes to identify and optimize areas of improvement.
Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Experience in customer service principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities. Strong attention to detail in administrative, order-processing, data-entry, or customer operations work. Experience with ERP/CRM systems preferred. NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $21.00
