Job Description

Our client, a leading industrial supply organization, is seeking a Counter Clerk Specialist for the Counter Clerk Specialist Program to join their team. As a Counter Clerk Specialist, you will be part of the warehouse support team, providing essential customer service and operational assistance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

  • 3:30pm, Monday through Friday What's the Job?
Assist walk-in customers in the store and answer inbound calls to sell MSC products in accordance with company standards. Resolve on-site customer product and service issues by providing sales-related solutions and consulting with other associates. Operate basic warehouse vehicles such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts to load, unload, and move products. Create and apply barcode labels using MSC item numbers or purchase orders. Support outside sales representatives and participate in special projects as required. What's Needed? Computer literacy and proficiency with email, internet browsers, and Windows operating system. Excellent problem-solving, customer service, and sales skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Working industrial knowledge preferred. What's in it for me?
