Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
A Warehouse Customer Service Associate is the primary resource for sales teams with issues originating in the warehouse regarding customer orders and shipments by performing the following duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

): Other duties may be assigned. Assist sales groups regarding customer reported issues. Direct phone calls to appropriate departments and contacts. Answers emails, system messages, and phone calls. Assists with shipping of international and domestic shipments. Tracks outgoing customer shipments. Processes reports ensuring all same day shipments and activities remain up to date. Update and maintain manufacturer certifications from various vendors. Work in a manner that promotes efficient handling and minimizes waste. Comply with all Company Policies as defined in the Company's Warehouse Orientation Packet (Heilind/DB Roberts) Pursue continuous improvement through training and process improvement. Comply with all applicable elements of the Company's Quality Management System. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

(ICC Only). Other duties may be assigned. Adhere to the principles of "5 S" to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Participate in company sponsored training and process improvement activities. Comply with all ICC Policies as defined in the ICC Employee Handbook. Pursuing continuous improvement through training and process improvement. Comply with all applicable elements of ICC Quality Management System.
SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer routing guides or other customer requirements submitted by the sales teams. • Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to use electronic devices such as barcode scanners for material pulling and material put away. Basic computer skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. EDUCATION and
EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent. Up to six months warehouse associate experience preferred but not required. Proficient in basic math skills. Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook and Excel).

U.S. Citizen, Any individual granted U.S. permanent residence, granted status as a "protected person" under 8 U.S.C. 132b (a) (3); corporation/business/organization/group incorporated in the U.S under U.S law; or part of the U.S. government. (ICC) Must be a US Citizen due to Naval Contractual Agreements. Ability to learn & perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment. Ability to work independently and safely.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers. Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting and work with and around a variety of equipment, parts, and inventory, operate a motor vehicle and forklift (if position requires); strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium physical work; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone or radio. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator. Positions in this classification bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position is exposed to large moving equipment, including motorized pallet jacks, forklifts, lift trucks, and conveyor belts. ICC occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
