Customer Service Representative (CSR) - Equine Veterinary Practice Iron Horse Equine Medical & Surgical Services Elizabeth, Colorado Iron Horse Equine Medical & Surgical Services is seeking a motivated, professional, and client-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our dynamic team. As a full-service equine veterinary practice, we are committed to providing high-quality medicine through a high-functioning team dedicated to exceptional patient care and client service. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about helping clients, excels at communication and multitasking, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities Manage incoming phone calls, appointment scheduling, and multiple doctor calendars. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing accurate information and exceptional customer service. Build positive, long-term relationships with clients through professional and compassionate communication. Handle client concerns and complaints with empathy, professionalism, and effective problem-solving skills. Maintain accurate patient and client records in a paperless medical record system. Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Follow established communication procedures, policies, and workflows. Assist with administrative tasks and light office cleaning duties. Support the team in creating a positive, organized, and welcoming environment for clients and staff. Qualifications Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn multiple software applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills with a positive and professional demeanor. Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations while providing compassionate client support. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently and follow direction with minimal supervision. Previous veterinary, medical, equine, or customer service experience is strongly preferred but not required. Knowledge of veterinary terminology, medications, and procedures is a plus, or willingness to learn quickly. What We're Looking For A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
