We're looking for a Service Advisor to serve as the key link between our customers and technicians in a busy heavy-duty truck shop . If you have diesel experience — or the drive to learn — we'll give you the tools and support to succeed. What You'll Do Deliver a friendly, professional experience for every customer from check-in to vehicle pickup Listen to customer concerns and create accurate repair orders and service estimates Inspect vehicles and document service needs clearly and efficiently Coordinate with technicians and shop leadership to keep repairs on track and on schedule Provide customers with timely updates and clear communication throughout the repair process Recommend maintenance and additional services based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines Review completed repairs with customers, explain charges, and ensure satisfaction before delivery Handle billing, payments, and service documentation accurately Support daily shop operations, scheduling, and workflow management Assist with road tests and additional duties as needed What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license with a good driving record required; CDL preferred 3+ years of experience in the light•and/or heavy-duty truck industry or related field Strong communication and customer service skills Basic computer proficiency Knowledge of truck repair, maintenance, and service operations preferred Bonus if you have: Experience with service management software Understanding of shop financials (labor, parts, billing) Why Join Nextran?
