Customer Service Representative Golden Commercial Printer Golden, CO Job Details Full-time $20 - $24 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Phone communication Writing skills Basic math High school diploma or GED Schedule management Client interaction via phone calls Full Job Description Do you love taking care of customers, building relationships with clients and watching a project come together? Come do it at a print shop that's actually growing. We are a busy, locally owned commercial print shop serving businesses, agencies, and designers across the Front Range. We produce high-quality digital and large-format printing — everything from business collateral to banners, signage, and vehicle wraps — with the fast turnarounds and attentive service our clients count on. We've grown a lot in the last few years, and we're hiring a Customer Service Representative to be the welcoming, dependable first point of contact for our customers. Why You'll Want This Job A real seat at a growing business. We're expanding, and the person in this role will help shape how we serve customers — not just push paper. Work-life balance that sticks. Standard weekday hours, no nights, no weekends. You'll have your evenings and Saturdays back. Variety every day. No two jobs are the same — you'll touch everything from quick-turn business cards to large-format signage and wraps. Learn a craft. You'll build real expertise in printing, finishing, and design files — skills that make you genuinely valuable in this industry. A team that has your back. Small shop, low ego, owner on-site. When you do great work, people notice. What You'll Do Be the friendly, professional first point of contact for customers by phone, email, and in person — and respond promptly. Pull together project specs (quantities, stock, finishing, color, deadlines, file types) and enter accurate job tickets into our system. Build and send quotes and order confirmations, then follow up to lock in approvals and payment. Work hand-in-hand with our design, prepress, and production teams so every job is understood and scheduled right. Give incoming artwork a basic printability check (file type, resolution, bleed, color mode) and flag fixes or hand off to prepress. Keep customers in the loop with proactive status updates, and head off problems before they become delays. Handle change orders, rush requests, cancellations, and reprints — and document them clearly for production and billing. Maintain clean customer records, pricing, and job history in our production management software.
Support repeat accounts:
set up new customers, refresh pricing, and help with everyday sales questions. Spot ways to make the shop run smoother and share them — we genuinely act on good ideas. What You Bring - Must-haves Strong, warm communication — a professional phone manner, clear writing skills and a willingness to be proactive when meeting and engaging with new customers Sharp attention to detail and the organization to juggle multiple jobs and deadlines at once. A calm, problem-solving head when things get busy. Comfort with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and a willingness to learn our industry tools. Experience working with CRM and/or production software Solid basic math for estimating quantities and double-checking pricing. High school diploma or equivalent. Nice-to-haves (we'll train the right person) 2+ years of customer service experience, ideally in commercial printing. Comfort with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, In-Design, Photshop) Large-format know-how — banners, signage, vehicle wraps, vinyl, fabric, rigid substrates — including substrate selection, finishing, and mounting. Familiarity with print processes (digital, offset, large-format), finishing (binding, coating, folding), and common artwork issues. Experience with CRM or order-management software. Technical certification or an associate degree. The Details Schedule:
