Customer Service Representative Job Description An established organization is seeking an entry-level Customer Service Representative to join a busy, client-facing team in Enfield, CT. In this temp-to-hire role, you will spend most of your day on the phone supporting a portfolio of existing clients, processing their requests, and coordinating with internal teams. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of existing clients and build strong, professional relationships. Spend the majority of the workday on the phone addressing client needs, questions, and requests in a courteous and efficient manner. Process client information accurately and efficiently, ensuring all data is entered correctly into internal systems. Coordinate order details, timelines, and schedules with internal production teams to ensure client expectations are met. Manage a high volume of recurring client requests while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Maintain professional, clear, and articulate communication across all phone and written interactions. Provide general administrative and customer support as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette and a customer service-oriented approach in every interaction. Learn and navigate new systems and tools to support client service and internal processes. Multitask effectively by handling calls, data entry, and coordination tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills Strong verbal communication skills with comfort speaking on the phone for the majority of the day. Customer service experience or a strong customer service-oriented mindset. Ability to multitask and manage a repetitive, high-volume workload. Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills. Tech-savvy and comfortable learning and using new systems and tools. Professional, articulate, and customer-focused demeanor. Strong phone etiquette and great phone presence. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment. Ability to work on-site in Enfield, CT. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with data entry and administrative support in an office environment. Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization. Experience coordinating with internal teams or production teams is a plus. Ability to handle recurring client requests with patience and consistency. Interest in long-term career growth within a client-facing role. Work Environment This position is based on-site in a fast-paced, in-office setting in Enfield, CT. You will work closely with a busy, client-facing team and spend much of your day on the phone and using computer systems to process client information and coordinate orders. The environment is high-volume and service-oriented, with frequent interaction across internal production teams. The role begins as a temp-to-hire opportunity, typically transitioning after approximately 90 days or 600 hours, and offers significant potential for long-term career growth within the organization. Professional office attire and demeanor are expected. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Enfield, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
