The Virtual Teller position will help our members with their daily transactions and look for opportunities to improve a member's financial life by utilizing Connex's products and services. The position must consistently meet referral goals consisting of Connex products. Virtual Tellers should enjoy being courteous, personable, and accurate while doing transactions for our members.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Includes the following and other duties may be assigned. Assisting customers with processing transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, or payments, resolving complaints or account discrepancies, and answering questions. Maintaining and balancing cash drawers and reconciling discrepancies. Handling currency, transactions, and confidential information in a responsible manner. Following all bank financial and security regulations and procedures. Responsible for achieving performance standards for referrals and cross-sell products and services to achieve bank growth objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Excellent customer service and communications skills. Minimum of one-year cash handling experience. Ability to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays. Ability to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and cash denominations. Basic math and computer skills. High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy. Sales skills are a plus. Ability to work evening hours 10 am - 7 pm.
