Summary:
The Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for the effective handling of orders at John M. Dean Co. and will serve as the liaison between the Company and the customer.
Job functions include:
Handling daily communications to and from customer via phone, email, or fax. Generating updated quotes for existing products/customers. Order entry including creating, reading, and editing job routers/travelers and instructions Purchasing and receipt of raw materials and supplies. File documentation in accordance with current methods. Maintain a clean and organized office area. General day-to-day handling of orders and positive interactions with our customers to meet their needs.
Requirements:
1+ year(s) experience with ERP software relating to order entry and order maintenance. Experience with JobBOSS or equivalent ERP software preferred. 1+ year(s) in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must be able to read and write the English language fluently. Must possess excellent soft skills such as email etiquette, conflict resolution, telephone etiquette, empathy, and sense of urgency. Ability to read and understand/interpret documents such as safety rules, and customer related documents such as instructions on job routers, prints, and production records.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is periodically near moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and vibration. PPE provided as needed, but the majority of work is in an office setting.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds unassisted. Must be able to use hands to type, write, label, and process paperwork.
Salary:
Hourly. Rate based on experience.
