Service Department Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Customer Service Representative to join our Service Department on Useppa Island. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while coordinating service requests, answering inquiries, and supporting daily departmental operations. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, and proficiency with phone systems and computer applications. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to creating a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Answer customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate service requests.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and service documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and other departments.
  • Process work orders, invoices, and related administrative paperwork.
  • Follow up with customers regarding service status and satisfaction.
  • Assist with general office and administrative duties as needed.
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Ensure all customer interactions reflect the organization's commitment to outstanding service.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong telephone etiquette and professional phone skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and common business software.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional administrative or customer service training is a plus.
