Front Desk Staff Hagen Ranch Cleaners Boynton Beach, FL Job Details Full-time $15 - $17 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Spanish Customer service English POS Dry cleaning Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team at a busy dry cleaning business. As the first point of contact for customers, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, handling garments with care, and ensuring a smooth and efficient front counter operation. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer support and ensuring a smooth operation at the front desk.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and professionally as they enter the store Receive, tag, and inspect incoming garments, noting any special instructions or pre-existing damage Input customer orders and garment details into the point-of-sale (POS) system Handle pick-ups and returns, ensuring all items are clean, pressed, and properly packaged Process payments and issue receipts (cash, credit, debit, etc.) Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with customer questions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter and customer waiting area Notify customers of order status, delays, or any issues Follow company policies regarding handling of customer property and data Work with team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior customer service or retail experience preferred (dry cleaning experience is a plus) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable and punctual with a positive attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and lift garments or bags up to [X lbs] Must be available to work every other
