The Contact Center Medical Assistant plays a critical role in making that possible. This is not a traditional back-office position. It is a clinical operations role designed to support continuity of care across psychiatry, therapy, TMS & neuromodulation, psychological testing, and specialty mental health services. The Role As a Medical Assistant within our Contact Center at My Psychiatrist Hollywood Headquarters, you will support both clinical and administrative workflows across a growing physician-led mental health organization. You will work closely with:
Psychiatrists Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners Clinical teams Patient Access teams Pharmacies Laboratories Patients across both in-person and telehealth services Your work directly supports: Medication management workflows Documentation accuracy Patient communication Clinical coordination Continuity of care across multiple specialties and locations This role requires someone who can combine precision, responsiveness, professionalism, and calm communication within a highly coordinated care environment. What You'll Own Patient Information & Medical History Management Accurately collect, verify, and update patient demographic and medical history information for clinical providers Ensure providers receive complete and reliable patient information prior to clinical encounters Support continuity and organization across patient records and workflows Medication & Prescription Support Process prescription refill requests accurately and efficiently Assist with medication reconciliation and patient medication coordination Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and pharmacies regarding medication-related updates Support timely medication fulfillment and follow-through across care teams Care Coordination & Clinical Communication Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, pharmacies, laboratories, and internal departments Help maintain seamless coordination across psychiatry, therapy, TMS, and specialty treatment services Support provider workflow readiness through accurate communication and follow-through Escalate clinical or operational concerns appropriately when needed Documentation, Labs & Workflow Precision Enter, track, and maintain lab orders, results, and clinical documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Maintain organized, accurate, and timely documentation standards Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance across all patient communication and workflows Protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times Operational Support Partner closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and Contact Center teams to support operational excellence Assist with administrative and clinical communication tasks as needed Help maintain consistency, responsiveness, and professionalism across patient-facing operations Non-Negotiable Requirements Required Experience within: Healthcare support Medical assisting Clinical coordination Contact center healthcare operations Strong understanding of: Medical terminology Medication workflows Healthcare documentation processes Comfort working within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Strong communication and organizational skills High attention to detail and operational accuracy Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism and consistency Full-time on-site availability Preferred Medical Assistant or clinical contact center experience Behavioral health or psychiatry experience Bilingual English & Spanish Exposure to outpatient or integrated healthcare environments What Success Looks Like Successful Medical Assistants within our Contact Center:
