Job Description

BWI is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support our Homestead location. This role is essential in delivering excellent customer experiences while supporting sales growth and operational efficiency. What You'll Do Customer Service & Sales Support Provide professional, courteous, and knowledgeable service to customers in person and over the phone. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely follow-through. Follow up on customer requests and backorders to ensure satisfaction and fulfillment. Build strong customer relationships while maintaining confidentiality. Support sales growth through inside sales efforts and add-on selling techniques. Product & Market Knowledge Continuously build product knowledge through collaboration with sales reps, vendors, and technical resources. Stay informed on products available in the showroom to better assist customers. Inventory Support Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability and timely customer fulfillment. Assist with ordering restock inventory under the direction of the Warehouse Manager. Participate in physical inventory counts and cycle counts. Verify accuracy of product movement within systems. Identify slow-moving inventory and assist with sales or transfers. Compliance & Safety Follow company credit policies and cash handling procedures. Ensure proper documentation and control of invoices, checks, and credit transactions. Participate in safety meetings and assist with loss control initiatives. Comply with all company policies and government regulations related to product handling and storage. What We're Looking For Skills & Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Excellent communication and phone etiquette Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask Bilingual Technical Skills Basic computer proficiency (order entry systems, Microsoft Office) Experience with RF scanners is a plus Working knowledge of products and applicable regulations is helpful Additional Requirements Ability to safely operate a forklift (or willingness to be trained) Ability to lift up to 60 pounds Team-oriented with a strong work ethic If you're ready to bring your customer service skills to a company that values reliability and teamwork, apply today!
