  • $20/hour Summary of Position The Facility Customer Service Associate is the first person to greet customers at our facility.
They are responsible for delivering a welcoming and friendly environment for all customers and patrons. They greet patrons and conduct check-ins, while also stocking the tennis shop and delivering additional support during events and programs when needed. Essential Duties Welcome customers in a friendly manner and assist with their needs while on site. Handle all court reservations and program/shop transactions through USTA Florida's point of sale system, ensuring all customers pay at time of service. Assist customers with creating and editing accounts. Review daily transaction reports and report errors/issues to manager. Maintain records of customer interactions and surveys. Maintain shop inventory and displays in a welcoming and clean environment. Create and display marketing materials to effectively promote events, programs and services. Handle phone calls and emails, providing accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries. Take photos and videos on site and assist with posting to web site and social media. Ensure TV displays are working and have relevant content on during business hours. Communicate with customers in the event of weather or other unplanned changes to programs and hours. Assist site manager with scheduling vendors and some purchases. Assist with player check-in during tournaments and special events. Other duties, as assigned. Key Competencies

  • For training Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Two years experience delivering customer service in a fast-paced, retail setting Experience with tennis and/or recreation point of sale software preferred Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed Must be able to read and write English and Spanish.
Regular attendance is required Reliable transportation required Must have a professional and positive attitude Must be able to pass the USTA Safe Play and USTA FL Section background checks Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to communicate in a variety of forms Knowledge of social media tools and best practice Knowledge of point of sale software and practices Basic photo and video skills Basic knowledge of marketing material creation/design Detail Oriented Work Environment Tennis facility and shop Works in and out of facilities
