Job Description

About the
Role:
We are looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the go-to resource for customers; answering questions, checking orders, resolving concerns, and delivering a positive service experience from start to finish. You'll also collaborate with the customer service team to strengthen communication strategies and maintain strong knowledge of our products and services so you can support customers with confidence.
What You'll Do:
  • Welcome new customers by providing clear, helpful introductory information.
  • Help ensure customers are satisfied with our products and services.
  • Professionally following up with customers, verifying they are and remain satisfied with their recent purchases.
  • Inform customers about new and additional products or services that may meet their needs.
  • Assist in product purchasing and order fulfillment activities such as taking and entering orders, giving pricing information, determining appropriate shipping methods, routes and rates.
  • Monitor product order shipment to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
  • Alert customers to issues in advance when possible.
  • Escalate customer questions or concerns when additional support is needed.
  • Troubleshoot common product or service issues and work with others to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Develop outstanding relationships with customers, listening to customers' needs and presenting possible options.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture in keeping with our brand image.
  • Maintain competent understanding of products, functions, and alternatives.
  • Ensuring procedures and policies are maintained and followed relating to customers' needs.
  • Support additional duties and projects as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
  • Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Excellent communication and data entry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer calls with professionalism and strong phone skills.
  • Takes ownership of actions within scope of responsibility.
  • Proactive, identifies and solves problems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MRP/ERP systems.
  • Commitment to continuous process improvement.
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, Associate degree in business preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years related experience.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly communicate with others, assess the work assigned.
  • Frequently sit, stand, and use stairs, ramps, and ladders, lift to 20lbs. with or without assistance, perform repetitive computer work, may experience low temperatures, and lift to 50lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Occasionally operates a motor vehicle, uses required PPE, may experience high temperatures, noisy environments, outdoor elements and may be exposed to moving machinery, and dust.
  • Rarely squat, crouch, kneel, or bend, be exposed to poor ventilation or confined spaces, or lift to 100lbs. or more with or without assistance.
  • Work indoors in a climate-controlled office environment.

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
