Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable general lines insurance agent to join our independent agency. The ideal candidate will be a licensed 440 agent in Florida with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and insurance solutions. This role involves engaging with clients to support their insurance needs, servicing their policies and providing ongoing account management via Applied Epic . Duties Assist clients in selecting appropriate personal insurance policies including, auto, home, all property and casualty insurance. Negotiate policy terms and coverage options with insurance company to meet client needs while adhering to company guidelines. Provide ongoing customer service support including policy reviews, claims assistance and coverage adjustments. Insurance administration tasks such as policy processing, documentation, and updates with the Applied Epic agency system. Utilize analysis skills to evaluate client risk profiles and recommend suitable insurance solutions where needed. Maintain compliance with HIPPA regulations and other industry standares throughout all client interactions. Requirements Active Florida 440 license required. Prior experience in Fla independent agency insurance as customer service professional required. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, communication and analysis to effectively serve clients. Full time may be a possibility after a probationary period.
