ShopWorks has an opening for an Entry-level technical support position. The Customer Service/Technical Support representative will be responsible for helping customers via phone, email, and logging into their computers to troubleshoot issues with our business management software. Primary Responsibilities:
Answer customer calls and respond to their emails in a timely manner Assist customers with upgrades, migrations, or archives Research and troubleshoot customer issues Test and document glitches in the software Assist customers with various questions and tasks Skills & Competencies:
Working knowledge of Windows and Mac-based computers with a willingness and capability to learn more. Basic understanding of databases and how they work. Comfortable using email and other communication tools like Slack. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Excellent phone communication skills. Excellent time management skills. Ability to problem-solve on their own. Ability to learn an enterprise-level business software program by using videos, software, and some one-on-one personal training. Willingness to be trained. Desire to assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner. Good work ethic, punctual, and accountable. Ability to work either alone or in a team environment to solve customer problems. Basic accounting knowledge is a plus. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred Experience in a support environment is a plus Foundational knowledge in software troubleshooting Note:
