Job Description

General Description of Position:
The Client Care Associate is often the first and last impression clients have of our hospital and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, compassionate, and professional experience for both clients and patients. This individual must be friendly, organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills. Hope Animal Medical Center is a busy, high-quality, multi-doctor small animal practice seeking a Full-Time Client Care Associate to join our team. Typical shift hours are 9:15 AM - 6:15 PM. This position is responsible for answering and managing multiple phone lines, scheduling appointments, greeting and checking in clients, processing payments, maintaining accurate client records, and ensuring the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times. We are looking for someone who thrives in a high-energy, team-oriented environment and demonstrates professionalism, compassion, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate is outgoing, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in long-term employment within the veterinary field. Most importantly, applicants must genuinely enjoy working with people, animals, and a collaborative team.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, & ABILITIES
High School/General Education Degree is required, associate degree a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication. Must accurately relay owner's account of the medical concern for the animals(s) involved to the healthcare team members who will be involved in the treating patient. Excellent people skills, friendly, outgoing, and willing to contribute to a team. Proficient computer skills (beginner to intermediate in Word, Excel, & Outlook). Able to operate multi-line telephone, copier, printer, and fax. One year job experience working at a veterinary practice preferred, but not required. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Compassion for owners and animals.
