Job Description:

Assists with adult client one on one enrolled in a day program with daily life, social and academic skills and/or behavior management training. Observes and monitors client's behavior and charts observations and incidents. Serves as role model and provides emotional support and feedback to client and their support system.

Job Schedule:

Will work up to 29 hours/week.

Competencies:

Ability to observe and monitor program participants' behavior; ability to train program participants in routine daily living skills; ability to work flexible hours; ability to participate in supportive guidance. Must be proficient with computers.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent and six months social services experience. Valid driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age with three years driving experience (per policy) to provide transportation. Experience with developmentally delayed population preferred.
