Job Description

Customer Service Representative Reports To:
Customer Service Manager Job Overview Customer Service Representatives will act as a liaison to the customer, providing product/services information, answering questions, and resolving any emerging problems with accuracy and efficiency
Work Hours:
Customer service hours of operation are 8:30am-5:00pm EST, Monday-Friday. A minimum of 3 days per week must be worked from the office, and overtime may be needed during peak sale seasons. Initial training may require up to 5 days a week in the office. Responsibilities and Duties (may include, but not limited to): Responsible for incoming calls. Handles customer interactions ranging from order issues, discount codes, warranties, mat performance, mis-shipments, lost packages, and any other product or order related calls. Accurate and timely order entry. Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow-up to ensure satisfactory resolution. Responds to all incoming emails in a timely manner and provides appropriate follow-up. Works with our website interface to guide customers through online ordering. Reviews open orders and order holds daily. Monitoring orders with expired cards, customer approvals, and track backorders with fulfillment dates. Conducts freight quotes as needed. Collects application/information for new customers. Verifies purchase orders for accuracy and legitimacy. Practices good record keeping and documentation. Works with customer routing guides and receives orders through various platforms. Understand international business, brokering shipments with duties and taxes. Processes credit cards and follow up on payments for POs older than 10 days. Responsible for assigning commissions to sales representatives accurately. Reports weekly on progress of orders, payments, and shipments.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required 3+ years of Customer Service experience required Strong communication and interpersonal skills required Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Office Suite Basic computer and typing skills required Familiarity with Excel and ability to understand basic spreadsheets required, advanced knowledge a plus Friendly, enthusiastic, and eager to assist customers with empathy and professionalism Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure Shopify experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
