Job Description

This opportunity is with Bostik, part of the Arkema group, who is a worldwide specialist in adhesives serving construction, consumer, and industrial markets. With more than 100 years of expertise, it develops advanced sealing and bonding solutions that adapt intelligently to the evolving demands of daily life. We are seeking a Technical Services Representative to provide hands-on technical support for Bostik's OEM and professional channel customers across the Americas region, with a primary focus on the soft / resilient flooring industry. Reporting to the Technical Service Director, this role serves as a key technical liaison between customers, Sales and R D, ensuring products perform to specification through testing, field trials, training, benchmarking, and on-site support. The role requires a strong understanding of flooring installation practices, the ability to conduct hands-on testing and evaluations, and the skill to translate technical findings into clear written reports and recommendations. This is a great opportunity for those with hands-on flooring installation experience to move into a customer-facing technical support role!
About the role:
As an OEM Technical Services Representative, you'll contribute to the Group's success by: Managing bond testing and adhesive studies with the OEM's products Evaluating and field trialing R D formulations for new product development Managing all OEM-related inspections, job site visits, and technical inquiries Collaborating with Sales and R D teams, while representing Bostik professionally with key customers Key skills and qualifications to succeed in the role: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the flooring industry (including previous background in flooring installation) HS diploma required, with post-HS technical school degree preferred Flooring inspection and installation courses preferred Ability to perform safe work practices aligned with OSHA, EPA, and Bostik EHS standards, as well as travel outside of local territory multiple times per year
