Customer Service Associate - Christian Bookstore

We are a Christian Bookstore in Mableton looking to hire a couple great people that are excited to share their love of Christ and inspire people on their daily faith walk with God. This is a perfect job for someone that is looking for meaningful work on the part-time basis. As a Christian Bookstore Customer Service Associate, you are a critical member of our bookstore team ensuring great customer service and a warm and welcoming experience for our visitors.

Role and Responsibilities:

Greet and serve customers with excellence Listen to customer needs and help them find products in the store Use POS system with accuracy Take special orders for Bibles, books and gifts Help keep the store organized and clean Open and close the store Provide assistance with special events Maintains ongoing product knowledge of all in-store specials/promotions Provide assistance with displaying and labeling products Identifying new and innovative ways to display and merchandise product

A consistent witness for Jesus Christ with a Christ-like attitude Embrace a high biblical standard of personal conduct and lifestyle Ability to work Monday-Saturday on a part-time basis Willingness to go above and beyond to serve customers Warm and welcoming attitude Retail Experience is preferred Good presentation skills (presenting or explaining product) Integrity in handling payments Discretion in handling confidential information Excellent communication (listening and verbal) and interpersonal skills Ability to multi-task May identify inventory needs and communicate needs to management

Working Environment/Physical Requirements:

Christian Bookstore - 1200 Square feet (boutique style store) Repetitive motion—keying sales transactions on the POS system and computer Half Day or Closed Most Holidays, Half Day before most major holidays Closed on Sundays Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs. Fun, Jesus Centered, and encouraging environment
