Job Description

GrowHoss.com is a leading e-commerce retailer of premium garden seeds, tools, and supplies. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Customer Support Representative (CSR) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and creating a positive customer experience across multiple channels. Position Overview The Customer Support Representative will manage customer orders and inquiries through email, phone calls, and walk-in interactions. This role also includes general administrative duties and requires a strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a courteous, professional, and timely manner Manage customer orders, including processing returns, refunds, shipments, and account adjustments Handle and resolve shipping damage claims Provide product recommendations and upsell when appropriate Maintain accurate customer records and order details Demonstrate a working knowledge of ERP systems, inventory levels, and inventory adjustments Assist in other areas as needed to support team workloads, cross-training, and coverage Qualifications & Skills Previous customer support experience required (e-commerce experience preferred) Experience with Gorgias, Zendesk, or similar customer support platforms is a plus Gardening knowledge or interest is helpful but not required Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with attention to grammar and clarity Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email platforms Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Team-oriented with a positive, mature attitude Self-starter who takes initiative and completes tasks on time Aligns with company mission and represents Grow Hoss in a professional manner at all times Work Environment & Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Some flexibility required for phone coverage Occasional overtime may be required This is a customer-facing role; employees are expected to maintain a modest, casual, yet professional appearance Why Grow Hoss?
